Yes I did say ALBUM.

Its terrible, but somehow the best thing I've EVER done.

Salute The Page!

Just another page coloured and good to go. Ho humm...

Words will follow images... My own little rebellion to the "screen writing" style of comic creation... Time will tell if it pays off.

Digital Tears...

What do digital tears look like... Another day, another page for le grand Bande Dessin! (or whatever...)

I found "Save me the Waltz" by Zelda Fitzgerald... Tis most assuredly hard going, and it doesn't exactly flow, however I have faith...

More Paint

More pretty pictures from Paint.
Inspired by Matisse's "The Thousand And One Nights". The middle has a wonderful Joann Sfar feel to it, I think... Um, or not. Anyhoo its in progress at present.

Maybe I will do a whole comic strip on paint...We must show respect to Kevin Costner & PAINT!

PAINT PAINTER PAINTING!

Do you remember PAINT?

Do you remember a time when it was the only creative tool to make use of during ICT lessons at school?

I painted a pretty picture using paint.

PAINT PAINTER PAINTING!

Show respect to PAINT!

Do You REMEMBER PAINT?

Do you remember a time when it was the only creative tool on a school computer during ICT lessons?
I want to go back, but I don't know how, and I have lost the keys... Its better that way I guess. Oh my princess! where hast thou deserted me. Um.

Childish Voyage... Um

Just another page in my wee introspective comic... It's a dreamscape by the way... Representing the loss of Naive Childish Creativity in so much of my work... I dont want to over explain or analyse, as I'm attempting to retain what little innocence remains.

Lost Princessess

The first of a series of lost and found posters im working on.... The lost princesses, original images taken from the ad campaigns of a large clothing company, whose adverts feature highly sexually charged images of (mostly) young women.

The images themselves are I believe sent in by the women to be used by this company, an interesting advertising gimmick to be sure... certain stories circulate about the head of the companies sexual habits...

The Lost Princessess... A wee bit patronising?

THE MOVE

My thoughts exactly on moving to Golders Green.

I now have a wee bit more space, guess I've no excuse not to... CREATE!!!

Oh
Apart from my crippling insecurities.

Page 10

Here's the 10th page, all tinted blue, because its night time not daytime, silly.

I've been listening to a lot of Mott the Hoople over the last few days. Because the do surely rock. And roll, glamorously.

Drawer Boy

No words yet, Text following Pictures, Just small panels, drawn one after another, building a narrative page after page, then edited & coloured with Gouache. The edited again. Phew.

So far I've gotten 10 pages done. I do dearly love comic's, I hope I can make something truly astoundingly great utilising the medium.
Um.

Still Life

He's dreaming you see...

In an attempt to create a 'Still comic', I figure these scenes will need to be stretched to give a greater feeling of the slow passing of time, and to better depict the stillness of life. Perhaps an additional two-three pages on these moments will suffice...

Not quite sure what I'm blathering about, but it's going to be Great!

Unless it turns out not to be, or I get sidetracked or something...

More On Trading

So here, presented in glorious RGB colour for the first time... The first 20 trading cards, the end goal is around 40-45.

Can a comic ever create as still and meaningful a story as 'Cafe Lumiere', or 'In the City of Sylvia'?

A new goal? Unfortunately my drawing is not consistent enough to create what I desire at the moment... But I'll keep a'trying.

Fin, Parts 1-4.

Death of a superhero. What if he is just the wrong man. Not the wrong time, or place. He is simply the wrong person.
The "hero" who cant save anything.
sigh.

Keep on Keep'in On Up...

Oddly productive, now that I've left university, I guess Im trying to prove something or other...
I will be returning to comics shortly (promise), although I must admit to seeing these pieces as panels on a comic page. Viewed as such the arrangement was particularly considered, blah de blah.
No juxtaposition between words and images as such, however a good title will do just as well... Ho humm.

Draw, Drawer Draw!

Heres a drawing for a poster I'm attempting to create. the key word being Attempting hummn.
Its for the play 'Drawer Boy' written by Michael Healy, which a fellow I'm aquianted with is putting on in the near future. But designing for others is hard (I remain as yet uncertain of my ability to convey their ideas).
Time will tell.
